SA FISHING SPOTS
Adelaide in S.A has some great fishing spots from shore you can catch everything from blue Crabs,Tommy Ruff,Yellowfin Whiting and Mulloway.So just because you dont have a boat does not mean you cant go out there and wet a line and catch some fish.Here you will find 12 fishing spots there is more and i will be adding them soon there used to be heaps especially along the Port River and Outer Harbour But they have all been fenced off now.
Port Adelaide
Birken Head
The Area around the Birken Head Tavern has been known to produce some nice Bream on high tide.Try early morning on a high tide,with live or fresh worms.
Take some extra tackle,plenty of rocks.
Garden Island
Garden Is Boardwalk
Board walk Garden Is.Only really fishable at high tide try for Mullet and bream,early morning best.
For the Mullet gents or redmeat have proven to be good bait
You can also fish the night for bream,try Whitebait and dont forget the airogaurd.
Iv even seen Rays caught here at night.

Henly jetty.Yellow fin whiting in summer,Mullet in Winter,Garfish all year round.Blue Crabs from end in Summer.
The yellow fin will only take live worms and they are in the wash right in shallow.You will also find the Mullet here but use Gents or Redmeat.
The Garfish bite better early morning and early evening.
You may even see some bream by the pylons try for them on worms.

Largs and Semaphore JettysYellow fin whiting in summer,Mullet in Winter,Garfish all year round.Blue Crabs from end in Summer.
The yellow fin will only take live worms and they are in the wash right in shallow.You will also find the Mullet here but use Gents or Redmeat.

North Haven
North Haven Breakwater
North Haven Breakwater Salmon,Snook and Flat Head from end.
Best fished at nights for Flathead and Snook on pilchards or fish fillets.
Salmon early morning on Whitebait.
Outer Harbour
Outer Harbour
Early morning Salmon,Tommies be very early not much room here at Outerharbour look out.
Gents for the Tommies and Whitebait or casting lures for the Salmon.
Night is worth a try for bream and Mulloway on pilchards.
Also plenty of Rays at night.
Port River
Snowdens Beach
Snowdens beach is good Bream beach at High tide early morning with live worms or whitebait.
Also worth a try at night but it can get pretty muddy once the tide drops thats why a high tide in the morning is best also good time for Mullet with gents.
St.Kilda
ST.Kilda Breakwater
St.Kilda Breakwater has yellow fin and Salmon at the end with Mullet And small Bream in the channel.
It is a long walk to the end at low tide but its the only time worth trying for Salmon use Whitebait or small shiny lures.
Power Station
Torrens Is Hotwater
Torrens Power Station is worth a try for Bream on live worms,early morning and at night.
If you are using live warms prepare to set up for Yellow Fin Whiting.
Take plenty tackle because you will get snagged.
Port River
Veitch Rd End
Veitch rd End top spot for Salmon.Try early morning on Whitebait,it has to be high tide also worth a shot for Bream with Pilchards,Whitebait or best on live worms.
west lakes
Westlakes Inlet
Westlakes inlet try here for Bream and Mullet.In the winter time early morning is best for Mullet.
Bream all year round on Worms.
